Saldırıyı kınayan Fethullah Gülen: 
Menfur sabotaj

Sağlık sorunları nedeniyle birkaç yıldır ABD'de bulunan Fethullah Gülen, 'ABD'deki bu terör hareketi, yalnız ABD'ye yapılmış bir hareket değil, dünya barışına karşı yapılmış menfur bir sabotajdır.' dedi. CHA'ya bir açıklama yapan Gülen, terörizmin islamla bağdaşmayacağını belirterek, şöyle konuştu: 'Terörist Müslüman, Müslüman terörist olamaz. Müslüman, ancak sulhün, barışın ve huzurun sembolü olabilir.'

Terörün kimden gelirse gelsin tasvip edilemeyeceğini bildiren Gülen'in açıklaması şöyle: 'Bütün terör faaliyetleri, kimden ve nereden gelirse gelsin, barışa, huzura vurulan en büyük darbedir. Hangi sebeble ve hangi maksada yönelik olursa olsun, hiçbir terör faaliyeti katiyen tasvip edilemez. Terör, bir kurtuluş mücadelesi şekli olamaz. Ayrıca terör, pek çok masumu da kurban alır. İnsanlık tarihinin şu son yarım asrını dolduran terör faaliyetleri, başlangıçta teröre maruz tarafa zarar veriyor gibi görülse de, nihai zararı neticede daima teröristlerin aleyhine olmuştur. Bu sebeple, ABD'deki bu terör hareketi, yalnız ABD'ye yapılmış bir hareket değil, dünya barışına karşı yapılmış menfur bir sabotajdır, Bunu, ancak insanlıkla alakası olmayan cani ruhlular yapmış olabilir.

Terör, bilhassa İslami bir gaye adına katiyen kullanılamaz. Terörist Müslüman, Müslüman
terörist olamaz. Müslüman, ancak sulhün, barışın ve huzurun sembolü olabilir. İslam, bir gemide 9 cani 1 masum bile bulunsa, 9 cani ölsün diye, o masumun hatırına geminin
batırılmasına izin vermez. İslam'da hak haktır; hakkın büyüğü küçüğü yoktur; bir masumun hakkı toplum için bile feda edilemez.

Bu sebeple, kimden ve ne maksatla gelmiş olursa olsun, ABD'de meydana gelen, bu ülke tarihin en büyük terör saldırısını şiddetle kınıyorum. Bu saldırı, ancak nefrete, takbihe layıktır ve herkes tarafından kınanmalıdır, takbih edilmelidir. Bu menfur terörist saldırılarda hayatını
kaybedenlerin yakınlarına ve bütün Amerika Birleşik Devletleri yetkilileriyle beraber Amerikan halkına başsağlığı diliyor, acılarını paylaşıyorum.'

I would like to stress that any terrorist activity, no matter who does it and for what purpose, is the greatest blow to peace, democracy and humanity. For this reason terrorist activities can by no means be approved of. Terror cannot be a means for independence, nor can it be applied to a struggle for salvation. It costs, most of all, the lives of innocent people.

It may seem at first sight that a terrorist activity has accomplished its goal and injured its target. In reality the result will be the destruction of the terrorist himself. This latest terrorist activity is the most bloody and condemnable. It is an act of sabotage against not only the United States of America, but also against world peace and universal democratic and humanistic values. Those who committed these acts cannot be but the most brutal of all in the world.

Please let me assure you that Islam never approves of any kind of terrorism. Terrorism cannot be a means for any Islamic goal, and a terrorist cannot be a Muslim, nor can a true Muslim be a terrorist. Islam orders peace and a true Muslim can only be a symbol of peace and the maintenance of basic human rights. If there are nine criminals and only one innocent person on a ship, in order to punish the criminals, Islam does not permit the sinking of that ship because of the innocent person. Any right is respected in Islam and it cannot be violated. The right of an individual cannot be violated for the interest of the community. The Qur’an, Islam’s sacred Book, declares that one who takes a life unjustly is as if he/she took the lives of the whole humankind, and one who saves a life is as if he/she saved the lives of all. Also, our Prophet Muhammad says that a Muslim is one who does no harm with either his/her tongue or hand.

I strongly condemn the last terrorist attack in the United States. It only deserves condemnation and hatred, and it must be condemned by all in the world.

Der Angriff ist ein Sabotage-Akt gegen den Weltfrieden

Fethullah Gülen, der sich seit einigen Jahren wegen gesundheitlicher Probleme in den USA aufhält, äußerte sich zu den Anschlägen wie folgt: "Dieser Terrorakt ist nicht nur gegen die Vereinigten Staaten gerichtet, er ist ein Sabotage-Akt gegen den Weltfrieden. Terroristen können keine Moslems sein und Moslems keine Terroristen. Moslems können nur Symbole für Frieden, Freiheit und Menschlichkeit sein." 

Des weiteren fügte er hinzu, dass ein solcher Terrorakt nicht akzeptabel sein kann, ganz gleich von wem er ausgeübt wird: "Terroraktionen, von wem und woher sie auch kommen, stellen einen Schlag gegen den Frieden und die Freiheit dar. Terrorakte sind abzulehnen, aus welchem Grund und welcher Zielsetzung sie immer auch erfolgen. Terror kann auch nicht eine Form von Freiheitskampf sein. Dem Terror fallen viele unschuldige Menschen zum Opfer. Terroranschläge, die nunmehr seit über einem halben Jahrhundert die menschliche Geschichte begleiten, schaden im Endeffekt immer ihren Urhebern, auch wenn sie zunächst den Anschein haben, der Opferseite zu schaden. Die verabscheuungswürdigen Anschläge in den USA sind als eine Sabotage gegen den Weltfrieden zu betrachten. Zu solchen Taten können nur diejenigen fähig sein, die ihre Verbindung zum Menschen und zur Menschlichkeit verloren haben.

Terror, zur Erreichung eines Zieles kann nicht islamisch motiviert sein, und auch nicht in Verbindung mit dem Islam als Mittel benutzt werden. Ein Terrorist kann kein Muslim, und ein Muslim kann kein Terrorist sein. Dass wäre ein Widerspruch an sich. Der Islam erlaubt es nicht, ein Schiff mit 9 Schuldigen zu versenken, wenn sich auf dem Schiff auch nur ein Unschuldiger befindet. Im Islam gilt ein Recht als Recht, als solches gibt es kein großes und kein kleines Recht. Ein Recht eines Menschen kann nicht einmal im Namen der Gesellschaft geopfert werden. Aus diesem Grunde verabscheue ich die Angriffe auf die USA, von wem und mit welcher Zielsetzung sie auch immer erfolgt sind. An dieser Stelle drücke ich den Hinterbliebenen der Opfer dieser Angriffe und dem amerikanischen Volk mein Beileid aus. Wir teilen Ihr Leid."
