ZAMAN DAILY NEWSPAPER

ZAMAN is a Turkish daily newspaper which began to be published in 1986. It is the first online Turkish newspaper on internet since 1995. Zaman Online web site takes hundred thousand hits every day.

It is printed in five different centers, İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Erzurum, and has a 250 thousands circulation in Turkey. Editorial center of ZAMAN is in İstanbul. The name of the publishing company of ZAMAN is Feza Publication Co.

ZAMAN (means "time" in English) is also distributed in 15 foreign countries including U.S.A., Canada, Germany, Australia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgzhistan, Turkmenistan, Macedonia, Tataristan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, both in Turkish and local languages.

Feza Publication Company also publishes Aksiyon (Action) a weekly Turkish magazine, Bisiklet (Bicycle) a monthly magazine for children. Cihan Haber Ajansı-CHA (World News Agency) is another firm related with ZAMAN. CHA is one of the major news agencies in Turkey. There is also a Turkish broadcasting firm STV which is the brother firm of ZAMAN.

ZAMAN has correspondents in Washington, Tel-Aviv, Moscow, Baku, Almaty, Frankfurt, Bucras, Askhabad, Tashkent, Cairo, Islamabad, Nicosia, Bishkek and some other capitals of the world.    

ZAMAN has a mission to bring different societies and cultures together with dialogue and tolerance. ZAMAN gives its subscribers some cultural books almost every month.
