ZAMAN Daily Newspaper

ZAMAN is a Turkish daily newspaper which began to be published in 1986. It is the first Turkish newspaper on the Internet since 1995. Zaman web site takes hundreds of thousands of hits every day.

ZAMAN has a mission to bring different societies and cultures together with dialogue and tolerance.It is printed in five different centers that are İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Erzurum. And Zaman Daily Newspaper has a 250 thousands of circulation in Turkey. Head office of ZAMAN is in İstanbul. Zaman is one the subsidiaries of Feza Publication Co.

In addition to Zaman, Aksiyon (Action) a weekly Turkish magazine, Bisiklet (Bycle) a monthly magazine for children, as well as Cihan News Agency (CHA) which is one of the major news agencies in Turkey are under the umbrella of Feza Publication Company.

ZAMAN which means "time" in English is also distributed in 15 foreign countries including U.S.A., Canada, Germany, Australia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgzhistan, Turkmenistan, Macedonia, Tataristan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and it is both in Turkish and in local languages at these countries.

ZAMAN has correspondents in Washington, Tel-Aviv, Moscow, Baku, Almaty, Frankfurt, Bucras, Askhabad, Tashkent, Cairo, Islamabad, Nicosia, Bishkek and some other capitals of the world.

ZAMAN gives its subscribers some cultural books almost every month.
